Why did we start LeadingDog?

As dog owners I found it increasing hard to find high quality dog leads and collars at realistic prices, there are plenty of leads and collars out there don't get me wrong however I was going through leads so quickly as they started fraying and therefore were no longer safe.

As for Collars don't get me started! I had a wonderful leather collar for my Doberman, this lasted the first 3 years of her life. we then thought we would get matching leather and braid collars for her and my Pointer puppy these lasted all of 3 months before they looked worn and tatty and they were expensive collars!

I was lucky to come across the Mendota range of products and saw the high quality items they produced, yet they were virtually impossible to get in the UK - so we thought we would import them.
